North Spencer Christian Academy(NSCA) admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, athletic programs, and other school-administrated programs.
Parents do not need to be members of Bible Baptist Church of North Spencer to send their children to NSCA.
We observe an open enrollment program at NSCA. However, we encourage new families and our returning families to register children by June 1st of the previous school year to avoid being placed on a waiting list and to assist our planning and budget accuracy for the following year. We also offer a discounted individual and family registration price for those families who register on or before June 1st.
NSCA does offer scholarships when the funds are made available by generous God led individuals and organizations. In order to take advantage of these scholarships, applications must be made through the NSCA office by July 1st along with a paid registration. We're so pleased that we have been able to offer scholarships most school years. May God continue to bless us in this way!
New Student Admission/Enrollment Process
Step 1: Set an appointment through the NSCA Office to tour the school. We find it is very valuable to actually visit the building during hours of operation to see the school function. During this visit perspective families will be given a tour of the facility and visit with our office staff and/or administrator to answer any academic, financial, or operational questions they may have.
Step 2: Complete a Registration/Enrollment application. During your visit, the staff will present you with an opportunity to complete our registration/enrollment form. Admission is not guaranteed, but we have been able to work with most families to understand their needs to ensure their student(s) are placed correctly, whether here at NSCA or elsewhere.
Step 3: Schedule a Shadow Day. In our opinion, it is very important for the child to come to the school for a day to experience the rich academics, social climate, day to day activities at NSCA first hand. The NSCA office would be happy to pair your student(s) with a "buddy" at their current grade level to walk them through the day. A shadow is a great way for the student to get to know peers, our faculty and staff. The NSCA Office makes all arrangements for your student's shadow day.
Step 4: All registration forms are reviewed, coupled with information gathered during the visits above. Acceptance is not guaranteed. Should anything prevent admission, our staff will contact families right away to discuss any situation that may need to be addressed.
2015-2016 Tuition Costs
Current annual tuition starts at $3685.00 for the first elementary-aged child . For grades K4 through Sixth, a child based tiering system is used with the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th children receiving discounts on single student tuition. Our Pre-K(2 and 3 yr. old Nursery) program is based on a daily rate. Our 7th-12th grade program is a flat per student rate of $4075.00. Being that our tuition scale is diverse, and that we often have incentives or discounts that apply to families uniquely, we would ask that you visit our office or contact our office for a specific tuition quote based on your family's makeup, needs, and intent.
